I need to thank some of the sponsors that are making this a fun event for all. Number one we need to recognize Chad and his team at ART for their time, effort and facilities. Number two is Zack Hamilton with his huge cash award AND parts for first in the Big Dawg Challenge. Industrial Injection is contributing to second place for the Big Dawg with a $250 gift certificate. E/T Motorsports is contributing $100 gift certificate for third place in the Big Dawg Challenge. But wait! We have a Stainless exhaust now from BDAP to give away to one lucky winner. Of course, Diesel Bombers is giving a free Dyno fee to one of the first 50 to sign up. Big thanks go out to all of these sponsors.
We have recently added a new sponosor for the Saturday Dyno Event. BD Power is offering gift certificates for each of the three winners on Saturday! Valair is also adding to the second place winnings on Sunday with a $250 gift certificate. CTD will give away a new pair of LED tail lights for the show-n-shine winner. Zak Hamilton is fabbing up some really cool and unique trophies for Saturday and Sunday!
I have added some pointers on the map above for various other locations nearby. This map starts you at ART. You will need to zoom out to see more. You may have to zoom out far to see the pointers for the San Marcos Outlet Mall. Crestview RV Park is located for you on the map. You can call (512) 282-3516 for information. Cabela's is across the street from Crestview and Walmart is across the street on the opposite side of Cabela's.
Saturday we kick it off with the first truck at 8 am. This is the regular dyno event and we should have three trophies. Cost this year is $60 for three runs. We will award similar to last year. We have a closest to 350HP, a closest to 500HP and a closest to 650HP. We're saving the biggest HP award for Sunday. The Saturday event is not about the biggest HP, it's about knowing how to tune your truck.
This year we bring back an overdue event for you Cummins fans. We are combining the festivities of a TDR Texas Rally with our Dyno event. We hope to see Piers, Harlan and all of the other hooligans back out for a weekend of fun. We also hope to see some of our other diesel brothers from Dallas, Houston, Laredo, Del Rio, etc...
Saturday during the day we will have a show-n-shine contest with winner take all. Cost is $10 per truck. Judging will happen by the audience. More details to come on this part of the event.
Sunday kicks it off with the BIG trucks at 10AM. Entrance fee is $160 which includes the dyno cost. There will be two runs only for this event. You should have your truck tuned and ready to go. We have prizes from some of our sponsors in addition to prize money from the entrance fee which will be allocated on a 70/20/10 split. We have a performance valve train plus $1000 for first place from Hamilton Diesel. We have a $250 gift certificate from Industrial Injection for second. Third place is now sponsored by E/T Motorsports with a $100 gift certificate. We hope to see more prizes awarded from sponsors this year.
We will have a vendor tent setup in the parking lot at ART. All vendors are welcome $10 per truck. You should bring your own table or booth to setup. We welcome all vendors to this event. It's a great opportunity to meet your customers.
